Melinda Cayzedo

Melinda assists with a wide range of the foundation’s operations. Before joining the foundation, Melinda worked in a variety of leadership positions, where she cultivated expertise in project management, strategic planning, human resource development, communications, and community outreach. Her experience spans multiple sectors including the real estate, hospitality, and non-profit industries.


Melinda cares deeply about giving back to her community. She was inspired to help others from a very young age when she traveled internationally and saw extreme poverty firsthand.  Since childhood, volunteering has been an important and meaningful part of her personal life. She is particularly passionate about women and children’s issues and has served the community in many different capacities for over 35 years. Melinda studied biology and chemistry at Hood College.  In her free time Melinda especially enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and swimming.
