As Senior Grants Manager, Michelle evaluates potential partners and oversees logistics for grant making. Before joining the foundation, Michelle graduated with honors from Brigham Young University, Hawaii, where she studied political science and worked closely with professors as a teaching assistant.
Michelle’s dedication to philanthropy, service and global affairs stems largely from her extensive experience living abroad, including several months of field research in the Middle East and 18 months serving as a volunteer missionary in Taiwan. From these, she gained a proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, an appreciation for foreign cultures, and countless life-changing experiences.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys experimenting with new recipes, hiking, and spending time with her family.
